Lauren Rouse (she/her) is a second year student at the University of Central Florida in the Texts & Technology PhD. Her research focuses on the rhetoric and discourses that fans use in online communities, specifically in conversations about and fan works on disability, mental illness, and neurodiversity. She is also interested in platform studies, the sex work industry, and critical race theory.
