I am currently Assistant Professor of English at Portland State University, where I teach courses in modernism, film and media studies, sound studies, and critical theory. I am the author of Sublime Noise: Musical Culture and the Modernist Writer, and have published in venues including Textual Practice, Studies in the Novel, Modern Drama, and James Joyce Quarterly.
