I am the Research Training Centre Coordinator in the Research Institute at The Hospital for Sick Children, and a PhD candidate (ABD) in English at York University, both in Toronto, Canada. As RTC Coordinator, I run research funding and professional/career development programming for undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral trainees. With Daniel Powell, I am the editor of the #Alt-Academy project Graduate Training in the 21st Century, which focuses on the changing nature of graduate education and post-degree pathways. My academic research focuses on Canadian modernist poetry and poetics, social-text focused digital humanities editing, and graduate professionalization, reform, and careers. I am also a writer for the feminist academic blog Hook & Eye.
