Before teaching at Davenport University, I earned my BA in English from Valparaiso University and my MS in TESOL from Nova Southeastern University. I am currently earning my PhD in Rhetoric and Composition and Media Studies from Old Dominion University. Go, Panthers, Crusaders, Sharks, and Monarchs! Throughout my life, I have spent as much time as I can traveling and taking on new adventures. Travel is one of my favorite ways to learn about new cultures as well as my own culture! I was an exchange student in Finland in high school and an ESL teacher in Greece as an undergraduate. In my teaching career, I have led study abroad trips to England, France, Spain, and Costa Rica.
