I am a PhD student in World History at Northeastern University. I am also completing a certificate in Digital Humanities. My general interests lie in studying the ways colonization effected the practice and epistemology of science and medicine in the early American and Atlantic colonies. My research has been published in the Medical Health and Humanities blog at Columbia University, the Sustainability Journal through MDPI, and the Undergraduate Research Journal at Butler University. I recently received a scholarship and grant to attend the Digital Humanities Summer Institute at the University of Victoria this June. My current digital work focuses on using GIS and R programming to map 17th century Boston.
