Gavin Keeney, PhD, is Founder and Director of Agence 'X', an architects' and artists' re-representation bureau, founded in New York, New York, in 2007. As 2016-17 Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India, he co-produced, with faculty and students, experimental transmedia projects. This included a CEPT University Summer School project, “Media, Transmedia, and the Multiple Arts,” held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Venice, Italy, in May 2017. He is the author of Knowledge, Spirit, Law: Book 1, Radical Scholarship (2015) and Knowledge, Spirit, Law: Book 2, The Anti-capitalist Sublime (2017), both published open-access by Punctum Books in association with the Center for Transformative Media, New School/Parsons School of Design. His current research project, “Lived Law,” involves a multimedia and performative study of the Moral Rights of Authors in the Age of Cognitive Capitalism.
