Stephanie A. Graves is a film and television scholar whose research interests include horror, the grotesque, and the southern gothic, particularly when viewed through the lenses of gender and queer theory. Her recent publications include critical pieces on The Cabin in the Woods (IB Tauris, 2019) and Get Out (Peter Lang, 2019). She is a PhD Candidate in English at Georgia State University, and she is, like many academics, fond of cats.
