Natasha Bailey-Walker is an African American Literature professor at Georgia State University. Her studies focus on literature of the diaspora with an eye towards afrofuturism, pop culture, and spirituality. Walker began her study of spirituality in Nigeria, the Caribbean, and the Americas after researching her own Jamaican heritage. She also slated to release a podcast with author Dionne Irving Bremyer, Second Place is First Loser, focusing on the experiences of second-generation Jamaicans.
