Daniel Gómez Steinhart is Assistant Professor of Cinema Studies at the University of Oregon. His current book is "Runaway Hollywood: Internationalizing Postwar Production and Location Shooting" (University of California Press, 2019). His next book-length project will examine Hollywood's cross-border productions in Mexico from the 1940s-1960s.
