I'm an assocate professor in the department of Media and Communication at St. John Fisher College and the director of the program in Digital Cultures and Technologies. My research interests include the pedagogy of coding, Internet memes, the intersection of parenting and social media, and the use of educational technology (and social media) in the college classroom. The courses I teach include Theater and Social Change, Social Documentary, Media Economics, and Film and Television Analysis. I have a BA from the University of Rochester in Film Studies and Psychology and an MS from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Information Technology.
