Kim Knight is an Assistant Professor of Emerging Media and Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas. Her research and teaching interests center on technology and social media in relation to art, identity, politics, and education. Her current research project is entitled Media Epidemics: Viral Structures in Literature and New Media. Knight is a reviewer for Digital Humanities Quarterly, has been an active participant in The Transliteracies Project and is an editorial member of The Agrippa Files: An Online Archive of Agrippa (the book of the dead). She is also the general editor of The Spiral Dance (thespiraldance.wordpress.com), a blog that addresses gender and emerging media as well as Fashioning Circuits (fashioningcircuits.com), a collaborative research blog on the intersection of fashion and emerging media.
