Soohyun Cho is a Ph.D. student in English at Michigan State University, specializing in crime fiction, cognitive approaches to literature, medical humanities, and digital humanities. Her current project focuses on the intersection of disability studies and popular culture studies, exploring the tradition of detectives with mental distress. Her ongoing digital experiment investigates the reader's experience with Kindle. She is also working at the Digital Humanities and Literary Cognition Lab, currently involved with interdisciplinary projects, including but not limited to, the neuroaesthetics of poetry and narrative responses to music.
