Joshua Louis Moss, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of screenwriting and media studies in the Media Arts, Design and Technology Department at California State University, Chico. His research is on the history and theory of ethnic humor media with a particular focus on transgressive and taboo media artifacts. His first book, "Why Harry Met Sally: Subversive Jewishness, Anglo-Christian Power, and the Rhetoric of Modern Love" was published by University of Texas Press in 2017.
