Luca Barra (1983), Ph.D, teaches Media Economics at Università Cattolica, Milan. His research focuses on the international circulation of media products, on the history of Italian television and on the evolutions of contemporary media landscape. He published a book, "Risate in scatola" (Vita e Pensiero, Milan 2012) and several essays in edited books and journals. He is the editor of the TV studies Italian journal "Link. Idee per la televisione".
