An art historian with a specialization in the visual culture of early modern Italy, I have written and/or edited four scholarly books. I am founding series editor of Visual and Material Culture, 1300-1700, a new book series published by Amsterdam University Press. I was previously founding series editor of Visual Culture in Early Modernity published by Ashgate (now Routledge).
