Anna Flood is originally from Washington State, but travelled across the country to attend Fisk University, a historically Black college in Nashville, TN. While at Fisk, she was able to study African American Literature and soon became a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. Anna has a passion for literature and education. She desires to illustrate the significance of literature, in all its forms, and the power that it has to make profound impact on the way the world is understood.
