Austin Fisher is Associate Professor of Popular Culture at Bournemouth University. He is author of the monographs "Blood in the Streets: Histories of Violence in Italian Crime Cinema" and "Radical Frontiers in the Spaghetti Western", founding co-editor of Bloomsbury's "Global Exploitation Cinemas" book series, and editor of "Spaghetti Westerns at the Crossroads" (Edinburgh University Press). He was co-founder of the SCMS "Transnational Cinemas" Scholarly Interest Group, and serves on the Editorial Board of the "Transnational Screens" journal.
