Dr. Belinda Walzer is Assistant Professor of English at Appalachian State University. Walzer's research focuses on rhetoric, temporality, and human rights as well as transnational rhetoric and writing studies. Her scholarship can be found in the edited collections _The Routledge Companion to Literature and Human Rights_ (Routledge 2015), _Teaching Human Rights in Literary and Cultural Studies_ (MLA, 2015), and _Precarious Rhetorics_ (Ohio State 2018); and journals including Philosophy & Rhetoric, College Literature, and Rendezvous Journal of Arts and Letters. She teaches courses on writing, human rights, and rhetoric, and transnational gender studies.
