Austin Burbridge is an editor and journalist. In 1997 he co-founded Cinema Minima for Movie Makers Worldwide. Before that, he developed applications for Apple computers, and managed a worldwide network for an oil company. Prior to those adventures, he had been in business, as CEO of a startup manufacturer of industrial goods. At Brown, he concentrated in Semiotics and Art. He learned community-based filmmaking and cinema vérité technique at Rice. Born in Texas, he lives in Los Angeles. He speaks English and French. He is a commercial letterpress operator, and an amateur of intaglio printing. He collects stamps, and is a fan of polo.
