We are the editors of the #Alt-Academy project Graduate Training in the 21st Century, Melissa Dalgleish and Daniel Powell. Melissa Dalgleish is a Canadian who is entering her second year as a graduate studies administrator, and is just finishing her career as a PhD student in English. Daniel Powell is an American, in the middle of a digital humanities PhD at a Canadian university, and a recent transplant to the United Kingdom, where he holds a Marie Curie fellowship in digital scholarly editing.
