Giles Fielke is a writer and researcher of film and media art histories. He is a sessional academic at the University of Melbourne and Monash University, where he teaches in the Art History and Theory programs. He is an editor of Index Journal of Art and Memo Review. His writing appears regularly in both local and international art journals. He is currently working on a history of art-filmmaking in and around settler-colonial Australia.
