Lauren Frey is a candidate for the M.A. in the Department of English at Georgetown University. Her research focuses on modernist poetry, women’s suffrage, and notions of the public sphere in early 20th-century American culture and literature. She will be writing her master’s thesis on the early poetry and letters of the American poet, Marianne Moore. Lauren currently serves as Georgetown’s project manager for Connected Academics, a national-scale project lead by the Modern Language Association and funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Lauren holds a B.A. in English Literature from Biola University, where she was also a member of the great books program, Torrey Honors Institute.
