My name is Matthew Brittingham and I am a Phd Candidate in Emory University's Graduate Division of Religion. I study Jewish immigration from Eastern Europe to the United States at the end of the 19th century and early 20 century. I particularly study how Jewish immigrants wrote about religion in the United States as they sought to adjust to the American context. I also have interests in contemporary antisemitism, Holocaust denial, American Christianity, and media studies.
