Patrícia Nogueira born in Porto, in 1980. She is a doctoral researcher in Digital Media at UT Austin-Portugal International Program and a fellow researcher from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. Her research topic is audience reception in interactive documentary. She also has a MFA in Documentary Film, is a visiting lecture at School of Music, Arts and Performing Arts and directs her own documentaries. She also works with other directors, both in fiction and documentary films. Documentary was the way she chose to talk about the surrounding world and her inner concerns. She likes to deeply know people, try to understand them, create a relationship and give them a voice. In her first feature documentary, 3 hours to love, Patricia pursue her favorite topic and try to engage audience with women emotions and sexuality. She usually says that is "a feminine film from a feminine point of view". The film won the award for Best Documentary at Viana do Castelo Cinema Meetings (2013) and was officially selected for DocLisboa (2013), Cine Las Americas, at USA (2014) and FEST (2014). Constant curiosity is one of her skills. She traveled around Europe. Lived in Paris, Brussels, Lisbon, but It is in Porto, the city where she born, that she feels at home.
