Vuslat Demirkoparan is a Turkish-born Los Angeles-based scholar and practicing artist working at the intersection of multiple expressive traditions. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine, with a certificate of emphasis in Critical Theory and an M.A. in Visual Studies. She is currently a Visiting Professor at Soka University of America.
