Jordan Von Cannon is a PhD student in English at Louisiana State University. She received her M.A. in 2011 from the University of Kansas where she studied gendered and queer narrators in works by Kate Chopin and Willa Cather. Her primary research interests include nineteenth-century American women writers, gender and sexuality studies, narrative theory, theory of the novel especially the American city novel, and the digital humanities.
